Special Meeting
Today there will be a special meeting at 11am, after the Harvest Eucharist, to look at the Vision for Christ Church and to come up with a Mission Action Plan. This really is a very important meeting. Please, do make every effort to join us. There will be cake and other refreshments. Thank you.
Harvest
Today is our Harvest Festival. We have been collecting food items and toiletries and (new!) single duvet covers and fitted sheets for Housing for Women (our Refuges). There will still be a chance over the next 2 Sundays to donate items before everything is collected by H4W. Thank you!
Carol Service
This year’s Carol Service will be on 16th December at 6pm. Caroline Lester (carolinelester@rocketmail.com) is looking for people who’d like to join the choir for that occasion. There will be some rehearsals on Friday evenings in the run up to the service. If you would like to join, do let Caroline or Marion Lee or Mtr Ariadne know. If singing in a choir is not your thing, do come to service and sing along with the congregational carols. Thank you.
Pantomime
Enid has booked tickets for next year’s pantomime (Aladdin) on Sunday 13th January 2019 at 2pm at the Bob Hope Theatre in Eltham (nearer, better parking and cheaper than Greenwich Theatre). Please let Enid (enidolding123@btinternet.com) if you’d like to buy tickets (£10 children/concessions; £13 adults). Thank you.
St Nicholas Fayre

Exploring Faith
A group of 6 people has been meeting monthly to study The Commandments and to explore our faith together. Our current book is coming to an end and we will start a new one (on the Eucharist) on 26th November at 8pm at the Vicarage. If you would like to join us, do come to the session in November. This session is for both new and not so new Christians – for anyone who wants to find out more about what it means to be a Christian.
Confirmation Classes for 14-18 year olds.
If you are 14-18 (or you will be turning 14 in the next 10 months) and you would like to be confirmed (7th July 2019) do let Mtr Ariadne know so she can arrange confirmation classes. Thank you.
