Get involved

From the servers' team to the choir, there are many opportunities to get involved with the Church

Working Party
Every first Saturday of the month, John Halford, Assistant Warden, arranges a Working Party to help look after the Church site. Grass is cut, beds are weeded, gutters cleared and leaves are swept up. Often other little jobs in and around the church are undertaken as well. If you would like to help, please, email John Halford johnhalford46@hotmail.com

Servers' team
Servers enhance and assist the 10am Eucharist services on Sunday mornings, as well as some special services, such as Midnight Mass. Children from Year 3 onwards and adults are welcome to join the team, provided they have been admitted to Communion. Please, contact Marion Lee or Mtr Ariadne for more information.

Reading Rota
At the 10am service, the first two readings are usually read by people from the congregation. If you'd like to be included in the rota, please have a word with Mtr Ariadne.

Toddler Play Group

We have two excellent helpers at the Toddler Play Group: Tracy and Leander. There is quite a bit of work involved and we could use some more helpers. It would be great to have one or two people who are happy to set up beforehand (day before or before 9am on a Wednesday) It would also be great to have one or two people who’d like to be responsible for craft activities at the Toddler Play Group.

The group is one of the ways in which we try to serve our community. It is a warm, friendly and welcoming group for parents, grandparents and childminders where children can play together and adults can meet with other adults. Do let Mtr Ariadne or Sue know if you can help.

Join our Choir

The Choir are looking for new members to join them. The hope is that the choir will sing once a month (on the 2nd or 3rd Sunday). Please contact Marion Lee if you’d like to join.

CDs in Church

We are looking for people who’d like to help with CDs during the Eucharist. We rely on these CDs for our worship. At the moment, Arthur and Sue are the only ones who do the CDs. It would be great to have some more volunteers. Training will be provided. You’d play a very important part in our worship. Thank you!

Notices

Is there anyone who’d like to help put the weekly notice sheets together? This is something that can be done at home. You could do them on a weekly basis or several at once. Do let Mtr Ariadne know if you’d like to help. Thank you!
