APCM

Our AGM will be on 13 March 2016. Before that, we will need to update our Electoral Roll. If you’d like your name to be included, please ask for an electoral roll form or email John Halford. (johnhalford46@hotmail.com)

Also, if you lead a group in the church, we will need you to provide a report for the APCM Report. Please, send all reports to Stephen Matthes as soon as possible. Many thanks.

Warden(s) needed

The APCM will preceded by the Parishioners’ Meeting. Wardens are elected at the Parishioners’ Meeting. We desperately need two wardens. This means that we need at least one other warden. This is especially important, because neither Mtr Ariadne nor Sue will be around in April. If you do not elect a second warden in March then there will not be a warden in April. There is also always the possibility that Sue may not want to stay on as warden. It is the parish’s responsibility to find two wardens who can be elected at the Parishioners’ Meeting.

Christingle Service

This year’s Christingle Service will be on 31st January at 11.30am. Please, pick up a ‘collection candle’ from church and bring it back (full of coins preferably) for the service. Children who attend Christ Church CE School will get collection candles through the school. We will putting the Christingles together on Saturday 30th January at 10am at the Vicarage. Please, come and join us. Many hands make light work! Thank you.

Star Kiddy Club

Star Kiddy Club --- under new Management!

The breakfast and After School Club, Star Kiddy Club, now has a new manager. The club currently has vacancies. Star Kiddy Club meets in the church hall on school days from 7-9am and 3-6pm. See notice board for more details.

JOBS DURING APRIL

Sue won’t be here in April and there are lots of jobs that she normally does, that will need to be done by others during that month (and beyond?). Jobs such as making sure the boiler room gets pumped out; programming the boilers in the church and the hall etc. Please, see the board for a full list of jobs.
